ADDITIONAL PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIENCE
━
Experiential Learning:
In 2024, I co-organized and led an interdisciplinary summer school on forced displacement in Belgrade, Serbia, in collaboration with the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade. The previous year, I helped lead an interdisciplinary Border Studies Program to the US-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
Teaching College Writing:
From 2021-2022, I held a Graduate Writing Fellowship from BU's Writing Program. As part of the program, I took two semesters of graduate coursework on writing pedagogy, participated in a semester-long faculty seminar, and taught three first-year writing seminars of my own design. I received a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Writing from BU's Writing Program in 2023.
Inclusive Pedagogy:
Shout out as well to the BU Philosophy Department's Inclusive Pedagogy Workshop Series, where I learned a great deal about teaching thoughtfully from colleagues over many years. The same goes for the pedagogy programming at BU's Center for Teaching and Learning.
